I’m running Princes of the Apocalypse in Eberron and am looking for ideas around how I can really bring the setting alive.

Current Ideas

  • Magewrights: working people who specialize in certain types of magic for everyday jobs.

  • Magic appliances: ever burning lamps, ghost script (think Stormlight Archive)

  • Lightning Rail: speaks for itself.

  • Faith: gods do not walk this earth yet Clerics and Paladins can derive their magic from it.

I’m looking for those who have run or are familiar with Eberron in their games to provide the world elements that have really brought the setting to life.


I must confess that this is the first time I read about Eberron. Can you describe it a little so I can get an idea?
