The stars represent all of the states. The 50 states were illegally formed from indigenous land. Or just outright annexed, like in the case of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

And the stripes represent the original colonies.

Once socialist revolution happens, flag should be replaced with some variation of the red worker’s flag, like how it was for Russia and the other soviet republics.

At the very least, replace it with ANYTHING. Just do away with the stars and stripes, they are incompatible with socialism.

Like, even though this one uses stars, they are socialist stars. So I think it’s serviceable.

Imagine an open world game that took place around the time of the october revolution and the years afterward.

Ah, western game developers would never make something like that unfortunately.

It’s not often there is that much sigma energy in one spot.

It’s interesting how the only thing that differentiates it from normalcy is the swastikas.

For everyone who’s not familiar: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1939_Nazi_rally_at_Madison_Square_Garden

“No you see, the problem was that there were no locked doors at this event. We need door control, not gun control!”

“vote them out”

Some have this idea that replacing all incumbent democrats with “progressives” that are in alignment with the squad will suddenly make things better.

Yeah interesting that they go for that rather than saying like Nazi Germany or something?

A lot of liberals are calling the republicans the “american taliban” too.

Are there any opposition parties left? Seems like a de facto one party state at this point.

If they were talking specifically about languages like english or french, then they’d certainly have a point.

But language in general? Huh?

They love to cite him including the “life liberty and pursuit of happiness” thing in the Vietnamese constitution. That doesn’t mean he supported what actually resulted of the US. He was just valuing the intention behind that part in the constitution, which obviously never got fulfilled by the US government.

Well they also take quotes from people like Mao and use them out of context.

Mao did speak of patriotism yes, but they were being subjugated by the Japanese. That would roughly be the equivalent of the native americans.

And also, I think Marx and Marxist figures talking about the American forefathers in a positive way does not mean that the forefathers were good. I personally think their praise went a little too far sometimes anyway. But as a whole, they were talking how they were “progressive” for the time, which is technically not contestable, but what did it amount to? Almost nothing truly progressive. The US turned into a force just like the British Empire.

Well, it doesn’t hurt to have good practices.

I agree though that paper straws are pointless.

I personally don’t use straws (except for the rare times I drink soda since less potential for affecting teeth) because you can’t taste the drink as well with them.

Yeah I’m not for large homes, but I’m not for people living in shipping containers either.

A good balance is needed (if a person really wants an individual home and doesn’t want to be in an apartment).

I tried doing college right after high school. After one semester, I couldn’t stand it anymore. It was basically just a more rigorous version of high school (the core classes, as they call them).

Daniel in Karate Kid 3 said it best: “I’ve been going to school since I was 4, I could use a break”.

I noticed something odd. Caleb never seems to directly say that he supports trans rights. He just says he supports transgender people in an appeal to the general concept of “human rights”.

Why would that be? Is it because he is personally is not for it? Is it because he’s trying to accomodate others who may be opposed to trans rights? It’s a potential red flag to me. One potential alarm to me is him saying to Va*sh that he supports gender reassignment surgery “for adults”. I feel like that’s a transphobic dog-whistle, since many feel that children who transition are pressured into it by their parents. Another one that’s particularly alarming is him saying “transgender ideology” (it’s basically the same thing as saying “transgenderism”). There is no such thing. That term is said by many conservatives in an attempt to make transgender people look like radicals.

I’m not making any assertions either way though. I trust that he means well, but may be going about it in the wrong way. Or perhaps it’s because he’s christian, and has certain apprehensions about it due to that.

From what I understand, they held in great regard the parts of German history that were progressive. People like Rosa Luxemburg, and of course Marx and Engels.

Ultimate chad for successfully evading all of those assassination attempts, tbh.

*Joe Biden said during a press conference at the NATO summit in Madrid that drivers can expect to pay higher gas prices for “as long as it takes” for Ukraine to win the war against Russia. The president was asked by Jim Tankersly of The New York Times, “how long is it fair to expect American drivers, and drivers around the world, to pay that premium for this war?”* *“As long as it takes,” Biden said. “Russia cannot in fact defeat Ukraine and move beyond Ukraine. Look at the impact that the war on Ukraine has had on Russia. They’ve had to renege on their national debt for the first time since the beginning, almost well over 100 years. They’ve lost 15 years of the gains they’ve made in terms of their economy. They’re in a situation where they’re having trouble because of my imposition of dealing with what can be exported to Russia, in terms of technology. They’re going to have trouble maintaining oil production because they don’t have the technology to do it. And they also are in a similar situation in terms of their weapons systems and some of their military systems.”* The gall he has...I greatly dislike this man. Translated: *Snake caches* *Do you recognize this dragon? A bloody glutton crawls. The spider sign of his cache, his name is Stepan Bandera. His name is Judas, Cain. This is the work of his snake hands: the fire of fires over our beauty, the spilled blood of innocent children. But the people have already become armored. She said her judgment: to crush the shift in the guard and pull out the sting and teeth in the gad.*

*“For the first time, maybe ever, South Korea is viewing the region’s politics in global terms,” Sneider told me. Its leaders—and also Japan’s, who are also shaken by the geopolitical shifts—will attend NATO’s summit at the end of the month. This will be the first time that America’s European and Asian allies have met together in a security meeting. In this sense, Russia’s and China’s tolerance—even encouragement—of Kim’s hijinks may have been a miscalculation as well* (lol) *Even so, there is at least one intriguingly hopeful sign. At a party conclave last week, Kim overhauled his national-security team, naming Choe Son Hui as his foreign minister. Cho is seen as an America specialist; she has taken part in negotiations with the U.S. and other Western nations before. This could be a sign that Kim is interested in reviving negotiations.* *However, Kim also said at the party congress a year-and-a-half ago that North Korea would need nuclear weapons **“as long as there is imperialism on this planet,”** and he deemed **the U.S. as “the biggest enemy” to “the development of our revolution.**”* Kim's sigma grindset

Should any sports ideally be banned in a communist society? If so, which one(s)?
This is something that doesn't seem to be discussed that much. I assume golf would be the biggest candidate to do away with. I would also consider horse racing. Generally, sports that exploit the most (their existence necessitating exploitation) would make sense, whether it be people, animals, or resources.
